Preceding the full release of Dixie Dragster Comes Alive, the band dropped the single "Show & Tell" on December 27, accompanied by a music video directed by Los Angeles-based celebrity photographer Jamie Nelson. “‘Show & Tell’ is just a taste of what's to come. It’s salty and it’s sexy,” says the group’s Lazarus-like frontman, Dixie Carl, formerly of The Tip. “This EP . . . It’s the escapism of our live show condensed into a single listening session. It’s a chance to be something outside of yourself and outside of what we’re told modern rock music can be.”
Dixie Dragster Comes Alive breathes new life into a tired scene of rock 'n' roll understudies, making theater of expectation with a sly wink, witty remark, and pointed middle finger to critics and contemporaries alike.
